MY BACKGROUND
With a background in design engineering I was no stranger to thinking and planning within dimensional environments. Combine that with what started as a simple photographic hobby led to being head-hunted by Google to help extend StreetView into the places that their vehicles couldn’t capture.
Joining the ‘Trusted Innerspace Photographer’ programme as the 17th member worldwide I’m one of only a handful of those original Google trained photographers that still photograph today, 11 years after the Search Engine allowed user generated content on Maps.
Through monumental success, I was invited to work beyond my local area, first nationally then internationally while leaning into the travel and hospitality sectors.
To date I’ve showcased hotels and resorts from 6 continents to almost 2 billion Google Maps users worldwide. All while helping shape travel marketing through next-generation technologies via a series of world first mapping projects and pioneering experiences for both virtual and augmented reality.
