Just a few footsteps away from St. Paul’s Cathedral, Hyde London City opened in 2025 and less than 1 year old at the time of the virtual tour capture, located within the historic Spiers & Pond building which was originally constructed in 1874 now has Grade II listed status. Little known fact, this property was the first hotel in London to feature electric lighting.
Continuing with our rollout of immersive, 360 virtual tours for Ennismore, this became only our second Hyde Hotel to be captured, a mere three weeks following the pilot for Hyde Ibiza.
A much smaller product than we normally photograph, Hyde London City was totally captured in just 1/2 day, including public spaces such as entrance, private events entrance and lobby area. Black Lacquer and Leydi comprise the two outlets which also double as event spaces, a small fitness centre and 6 different room categories cover the entire remit of this project.
Even with fairly high occupancy the early summer sun allowed for shooting of the F&B spaces to done prior to guests arriving for breakfast while wroking around checkout/checkin times to access each of the room types so that no categories needed to be blocked out – much to the pleasent suprise of the reservations team and hotel operations.
A provision tour was built within 24 hours and issued to the client for approval, a few minor edits later and the tour was live and explorable on Google Maps in just 72 hours with assets handed to Ennismore brand team for integration to HydeHotels.com shortly thereafter.
