Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club is located right in the heart of the vibrant Dubai Marina district, offering direct access to Marina Walk promenade. This hotel is all about urban energy, stunning waterfront vistas and being at the centre of the dining, shopping, and nightlife scene.
Two properties which were originally due to be photographed in 2020 but cancelled due to lockdown restrictions, both Vida Emirates Hills and Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club both get the full digital twin treatment.
This project is unique in that the cluster was moving over from a Matterport 3D tour to a photogrammetry virtual tour experience in order to take advantage of the fact there are no ongoing hosting fees, one thing that did become apparent however was that the Meeting & Events team benefit from having a plan view on the meeting spaces, as part of the package we rescanned this area in order to generate floorplans to help better market and convert leads as these were a key revenue generators for the individual products.
Only a single day was required at each property, working around usual hotel operations to ensure there was no impact upon the guest experience. Each immersive experience is made up of 100 equirectangular panoramas (around 2000 individual photos) to completely map the various points of interest with two distinct sets of deliverables created which now allow for explorations on Google Maps through their respective business profiles (Vida Emirates Hills | Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club) or via the individual hotel pages on the brand website.
